Stainless Steel vs. Brass: Which Metal is Best?
Some luxury cards are made of Brass. Ours are Steel. We explain the difference in weight, color, and tarnish.

When shopping for metal cards, you will see two main materials: Stainless Steel and Brass. Here is why we exclusively use Steel.
1. The Tarnish Factor
Brass: It looks like gold initially, but brass oxidizes. Over time, it turns brown or green (patina). It can even smell like old pennies.
Steel: 316L Steel never changes color. It stays shiny and clean forever.
2. Durability
Brass is a "soft" metal. If you drop it on concrete, it dents easily. Steel is much harder. It resists dents and scratches significantly better, ensuring your premium card stays premium.
