Is the DIY process difficult to do?
Not at all! We designed our DIY Kit to be simple and safe. It comes with precision tools, protective adhesive, and a step-by-step video guide. Most customers complete their chip transplant in under 5 minutes!
Will my metal card be fully functional?
Yes! Once you transfer your chip using our kit, your metal card will work perfectly for SWIPING and INSERTING (EMV chip). Note: Metal shielding blocks Tap-to-Pay on the physical card, but you can still use Apple Pay / Google Pay on your phone.
How do you protect my card information?
This is the safest way to upgrade! Since you do the conversion yourself at home, your card NEVER leaves your hands. We never see your card number, CVV, or chip data. You maintain 100% privacy and security.
What comes in the DIY Kit package?
Once you place an order, we ship the complete kit directly to your address. It includes your custom laser-engraved metal card, precision chip transfer tools, specialized adhesive strips, and a detailed guide.
What happens to my old plastic card?
You keep it! Our guide shows you how to safely remove the EMV chip from your old plastic card. Once the chip is moved to the metal card, the plastic body is kept as a backup souvenir while your metal card becomes the active card.
Will my metal card work at all ATMs & Stores?
It works everywhere standard swipe and chip insert cards are accepted (Stores, Merchants, POS Terminals). We recommend avoiding motorized deep-slot ATMs to prevent card jamming.
