How to Keep Your Metal Card Looking Brand New
Fingerprints on your Mirror Gold? Dust in the engraving? Here is the proper way to clean and polish your card.

Your metal card is jewelry for your wallet. And like a nice watch, it needs an occasional wipe-down to look its best, especially if you chose the Mirror Gold finish.
1. Removing Fingerprints
The best tool is a simple Microfiber Cloth (like the one you use for sunglasses). Do not use paper towels—they are wood pulp and can leave tiny micro-scratches on mirror finishes.
2. Deep Cleaning (Sticky Residue)
If your card gets sticky or dirty, use a small amount of Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl) on a cotton pad. It evaporates quickly and won't rust the stainless steel. Avoid using harsh household cleaners or bleach.
3. Cleaning the Engraving
Sometimes, white dust or pocket lint gets trapped in the deep laser grooves of your design. An old, soft toothbrush with a little water is the perfect tool to gently scrub the engraving and make the design pop again.
