Will a Metal Card Fit in My Wallet?
Worried about stretching your expensive leather wallet? We compare thickness and dimensions.

A common fear is that a metal card is a thick, chunky slab that will ruin a slim wallet. Let's look at the measurements.
The ISO Standard
Credit card dimensions are governed by an international standard (ISO/IEC 7810).
Standard Plastic Card: 0.76mm thick.
Our Metal Cards
Our metal cards are machined to be approximately 0.8mm thick. This is virtually identical to your plastic card.
Wait, what about the numbers?
This is where metal is actually better. Old plastic cards have embossed (raised) numbers that make the card effectively 1.2mm thick in spots. Our metal cards are flat (laser engraved). This means a metal card actually slides easier into a tight leather slot than a bumpy plastic one.
Verdict: Safe for Ridge Wallets, leather bifolds, and phone cases.
